I finally got published

I recently submitted a short story, with eight pictures to an online magazine that also publishes a paper version for subscribers.  I was chose out of many submissions for their publication, and even got the cover story with color pictures. It is so nice to be recognized for my picture taking and storytelling. Although it is only a couple paragraphs long.  I have been in the newspaper many times, but never with my own words, the stories were always words from a reporter. I want to submit more pictures and stories, as soon as I have something that is worth submitting. This is an arduous process, due to the high expectations I have of myself.
