Tsunami

I was laying there in bed trying to wrap my mind around the total number of people that died, I feel like I feel less than I should, Shouldn't I feel or hear the loss of 150,000 souls, gone at once, My worries seem so trival and worthless, How do you comprehend such a staggering number.

If you counted one person a second it would take over 41 hours, almost two days.

If you took 2 feet of ribbon to make a bow for each person lost, the total is over 56 miles, enough to go from Loveland, Colorado to Denver, Colorado.

If you toasted each person lost in the tsunami with a one ounce of whatever you are drinking you will need to drink 2343.75 gallons and if you toasted 20 people a night, every night it would take over twenty years.

If you sent a nickle for every person lost you would need to send $7500.00

I am not trying to be morbid here, I just need to relate it to something I can understand.
